MONO-and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids-This additive is generally used as an emulsifier. Emulsifiers are believed to disrupt the intestinal flora and to increase the risk of auto-immune disorders, allergies, and inflammatory diseases. Recent INSERM studies from 2023 and 2024 have concluded that it also increases the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
